Our story
Northernlites Events was created from a love for bringing people together and making meaningful moments feel a little more effortless.
What began with a vintage horse trailer turned mobile bar has grown into a full-service event company offering bartending, coordination, event-day setup, cleanup, specialty experiences, and more. Through every service, our goal is the same: to take care of the details so you can be fully present with the people you love.
We believe the best events aren’t simply about beautiful details, they’re about the memories created around them. Whether we’re setting the tables, serving drinks, coordinating the day, or cleaning up after the final song, our team is there so you don’t have to spend your celebration working behind the scenes.
As Northernlites continues to grow, my vision is to build a company rooted in genuine hospitality, thoughtful service, and community. One that creates meaningful experiences, provides opportunities for our team, and becomes something lasting for my family.
Because life moves quickly, and the moments that bring us together are worth being present for.
This is my wedding day back in 2014. These beautiful screen doors were part of my husband's, Nana’s family homestead, and my dad made the framing to hold them up, jewelry is from my grandpa’s mom, bouquet was made by a dear friend of the family, hair pins were worn by every woman on their wedding day on my husbands mom’s side and my sister-in-laws. There were other details not pictured as well that made this day so special.
Our little story:
My husband and I lived next door when we were babies, then my family moved to the other side of the river and we re-connected when we were 10. We started dating at the age of 14. got married at age 21. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats. We were blessed with 3 kids two biological and one we were blessed with through adoption. We recently moved back into the home my husband grew up in and the home I would hang out at all throughout our friend and dating years.
